“We are hap­py to be part of the internship program”

Für zwei Wochen waren Phol­la­kit und Ben­ja­min mit Expe­ri­en­cing Euro­pe bei Con­ti­nen­tal in Frank­reich. Die bei­den woll­ten Arbeits­er­fah­run­gen sam­meln, eine neue Kul­tur ken­nen­ler­nen und ihre Eng­lisch­kenn­tis­se verbessern. 

We were in the Internship pro­gram for two weeks in Tou­lou­se to get some new expe­ri­ence for our future.

I am Phol­la­kit Kong-un 21years old. My objec­ti­ve to join this pro­gram is to impro­ve my Eng­lish know­ledge and get some prac­ti­ce work expe­ri­ence to use in my future.

I am Ben­ja­min Fritz 21 years old. My objec­ti­ve to join this pro­gram is to dis­co­ver new things about other cul­tures and how other coun­tries work.

To begin with our two weeks expe­ri­ence we are in care­er pre­pa­ra­ti­on pro­gram (Kol­ping) in Ger­ma­ny. Kol­ping offers an edu­ca­ti­on and care­er pre­pa­ra­ti­on for young peop­le and adults.

We have deci­ded to be a part of Internship pro­gram in Tou­lou­se by Con­ti­nen­tal Auto­mo­ti­ve Fran­ce. First day in Tou­lou­se we felt hap­py and exci­ted to see a cul­tu­re from ano­t­her coun­try. The hotel is beau­ti­ful, clean and inclu­de high speed wifi. 

At Con­ti­nen­tal we dis­co­ve­r­ed sepa­ra­te depart­ments. The­re are finan­cial depart­ment, human resour­ce we also visit labo­ra­to­ries, wareh­ouse, test cen­ter, pro­duc­tion and a pre­sen­ta­ti­on of con­trol­ling depart­ment. Espe­cial­ly, we also met an engi­neer from soft­ware deve­lo­p­ment. Con­ti­nen­tal also has a beau­ti­ful cafe­te­ria and a lot of acti­vi­ties for their employee to do so they don’t have too much stress at work. We are sur­pri­sed that the col­leagues are nice and hel­pful they take care of us during an Internship pro­gram. Also, French peop­le out­side of the com­pa­ny in the town are friend­ly too. One of the most beau­ti­ful things in life is to meet peop­le like Mr. Roger Agui­ar. He brings us a lot of moti­va­ti­on and power.

Howe­ver, food is expen­si­ve in Tou­lou­se if we com­pa­re with Ger­ma­ny. The­re are too many peop­le in the Metro but it’s not a dis­ad­van­ta­ge at all becau­se every minu­te comes a metro. Final­ly, we are very hap­py to be a part of the Internship pro­gram in Con­ti­nen­tal Auto­mo­ti­ve Fran­ce. We gai­ned a lot of expe­ri­ence, for examp­le indi­vi­du­al respon­si­bi­li­ties, what a big com­pa­ny loo­ks like, to learn and know what they are doing at work and impro­ve our Eng­lish know­ledge. Last of all many thanks for taking care of us, hel­ping us and thanks for showing us many things about your com­pa­ny and cul­tu­re. We wish the best for the beau­ti­ful future.
