I am really grateful for this opportunity”

Renata Holly hat ein Praktikum bei Continental in Regensburg absolviert. Sie ist 18 Jahre alt und kommt aus Ungarn.

My name is Renata Holly, I’m an 18-year-old Hungarian student from Székesfehérvár. I made an internship at the HR department in Regensburg with the program, called Experiencing Europe.

On my first day, I was a bit surprised of the immensity of Conti. There are thousands of people from completely different cultures and countries. For me, since I am unexperienced, this circumstance is breathtaking. When I arrived at my office, one of my local buddies and some other people gave me information about how things going on here and I got a short Continental tour. After that I have participated in a presentation about safety and requirements. Then we had a lunch in the main canteen. During the afternoon I have started working in another office, in a local department. I did some administrative work.

In another day I had a special program with an HR Business Partner, who held a presentation of what he is doing exactly. It was about the whole structure and processes of the HR. This was one of the highlights of my internship and the others, when I got many information what the student and training department or HR secretaries’ days looking like and about their main tasks like supporting the head of HR and when my local buddy held me a presentation about HR projects.

I can state bravely I have a bigger knowledge about what people are doing in a multinational corporation every day and I could have an experience about the diversity of Continental. Finally, I have to mention I am really grateful for this opportunity.

I want to say thank you for people who organized everything in Regensburg and in Budapest as well, who made it possible that I got the opportunity to come here. I recommend for everyone! 😊 😊 😊
