We are happy to be part of the internship program”

Für zwei Wochen waren Phollakit und Benjamin mit Experiencing Europe bei Continental in Frankreich. Die beiden wollten Arbeitserfahrungen sammeln, eine neue Kultur kennenlernen und ihre Englischkenntisse verbessern.

We were in the Internship program for two weeks in Toulouse to get some new experience for our future.

I am Phollakit Kong-un 21years old. My objective to join this program is to improve my English knowledge and get some practice work experience to use in my future.

I am Benjamin Fritz 21 years old. My objective to join this program is to discover new things about other cultures and how other countries work.

To begin with our two weeks experience we are in career preparation program (Kolping) in Germany. Kolping offers an education and career preparation for young people and adults.

We have decided to be a part of Internship program in Toulouse by Continental Automotive France. First day in Toulouse we felt happy and excited to see a culture from another country. The hotel is beautiful, clean and include high speed wifi.

At Continental we discovered separate departments. There are financial department, human resource we also visit laboratories, warehouse, test center, production and a presentation of controlling department. Especially, we also met an engineer from software development. Continental also has a beautiful cafeteria and a lot of activities for their employee to do so they don’t have too much stress at work. We are surprised that the colleagues are nice and helpful they take care of us during an Internship program. Also, French people outside of the company in the town are friendly too. One of the most beautiful things in life is to meet people like Mr. Roger Aguiar. He brings us a lot of motivation and power.

However, food is expensive in Toulouse if we compare with Germany. There are too many people in the Metro but it’s not a disadvantage at all because every minute comes a metro. Finally, we are very happy to be a part of the Internship program in Continental Automotive France. We gained a lot of experience, for example individual responsibilities, what a big company looks like, to learn and know what they are doing at work and improve our English knowledge. Last of all many thanks for taking care of us, helping us and thanks for showing us many things about your company and culture. We wish the best for the beautiful future.
